I am a trilingual computer science engineer from Italy.
I have a bachelor degree in computer science engineering obtained at Politecnico di Milano in 2021, and two master's degree in computer science engineering, one from Politecnico and one from Xi'an Jiaotong University.
I currently work in the Information Systems division of the European Central Bank, in Frankfurt.
You can read my research about Large Language Models for Fact-checking. It contains insights on how these models read and understand tabular data and use it to perform fact verification.

I started taking my path towards learning computer science in 2016, where I went to a pre-college program in Cambridge to learn Python and R. That same year I did a one month intenship in a small company called Wins SRL to understand the machanism of relational databases and their usage.
After obtaining my high school diploma, I studied computer science engineering in Politecnico di Milano, one the most demanding and challenging universities in the world. In this period I learned how to have a more formal and methodic approach to the CS world. I had the opportunity to learn all the details of Object Oriented Programming through the use of Java, the C programming language and a theoretical approach of algorithm complexity. Nevertheless, being an engineering program, I also had the opportunity to focus on calculus, linear algebra, electronics and automation and control.
My master's degree journey was a little less standard: the double degree program consists in studying one year in your home university (in my case, Politecnico di Milano) and one year abroad (in my case, China, at Xi'an Jiaotong University). This gave me the opportunity to live in two different cultural environments while studying and doing a master's degree.
After a brief parenthesis at a big consulting company called Capgemini, in Milan, I currently work for the European Central Bank, in the Information Systems department.
I am always willing to learn new stuff, practice and share my experience, and I have passion for many topics in computer science and in general.
